WordDumb

WordDumb is a calibre plugin for adding word gloss annotations, character and location descriptions to ebooks.

Test version can be downloaded from GitHub Actions Artifacts.

Features

• Support KFX, AZW3, AZW, MOBI and EPUB eBooks.

• Create and send Kindle Word Wise and X-Ray files.

• Add Word Wise annotations and X-Ray footnotes to EPUB books.

• Add locator map of countries and cities to EPUB X-Ray footnotes.

• Add inception date of countries and cities to X-Ray descriptions.

• Fetch X-Ray descriptions from Wikipedia or other MediaWiki server.

• Customize Word Wise difficulty and definitions.

• Customize X-Ray for each book.

• Import Word Wise difficulty data from Anki, Kindle Vocabulary Builder and CSV file.

• Export Word Wise data to Anki cards.
